Mature animals have a price by their names if they are for sale - kids are listed on the kids page.
We retain the right to change breeding pairs at our discretion and keep any animal that we wish for the betterment of our herd. We reserve the right to wether or refuse to wether any buck kid at our discretion.
Deposits are Non-Refundable (except for loss of goat prior to arranged pickup or transport time). A $50.00 deposit is required to reserve an adult animal or a kid once it is born. Deposits must be received within 7 days of reservation unless other arrangements have been made. Deposits can be made by check and balance paid in full by check if done prior to picking up the animal. We do not accept checks at pick up time – cash only. Please make all checks payable to Ma Bugni’s Farm, LLC. The animal will be marked “sale pending” until paid in full. The reserved goat must be paid in full before leaving the farm and must be paid in full within 30 days of reservation (for kids and milk does waiting to wean kids). A goat WILL NOT BE RESERVED WITHOUT A DEPOSIT. Free reservations can be made on unborn kids, but deposits must be paid once the kid is born and chosen.
We sell animals that are healthy at the time of transfer. We do not guarantee the goat to be free of parasites, other diseases or health problems. We do test our herd regularly for CAE, CL and Johne’s through WADDL and have maintained negative results in all animals. A purchaser has the right to a full vet examination at his/her expense on any animals to be purchased. We will not be responsible for the health of an animal purchased from us once it leaves the farm unless we are presented with a vet’s official statement that the animal in question had a condition prior to transfer. If you think your goat is having issues, please contact us right away so we can help. We are glad to help with any questions you have about the care of your new goat(s).
We price our animals based on milk production, conformation, quality and generation (in Mini Nubians). All animals are healthy when leaving our farm – we will not sell a known sick animal. We cannot guarantee the health of the animal once is leaves our farm. We cannot give refunds on a reserved goat with the exception of illness or death before it leaves our care.
Does in milk and trained milking does are two different animals with two different prices. Just because a doe is sold in milk, does not mean that she is a trained milker, unless specified in the ad or in discussions with us. Trained milk does have a much higher price than a general doe in milk. Male goats can have two prices: One as an intact buck/buckling, second price as a wether.
We make no guarantee that any animal from our herd is perfect or show quality. If a breeding animal is purchased and unable to reproduce, arrangements can be made to replace the animal with a breeding animal of similar quality as the animal originally purchased. This defect must be certified by a veterinarian or certified lab that tested the animal to make the determination of the animal not being able to reproduce and/or being sterile and it must be a genetic issue or damage that occurred to the animal while in our care before the animal will be replaced.
Any goat paid for but not picked up within the arranged time, where no board is being paid, will be forfeited to Angela Bugni and Ma Bugni’s Farm, LLC and will remain our property and all monies paid will be forfeited.
If purchased goat is traveling to another state, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to research the laws in their state and insure that the goat has the proper testing paperwork needed. We can take the animal to the vet for health certificates at the purchaser’s expense.
***Buyer’s Remorse Clause***: If you buy a goat from us, are not happy with the goat, and opt to return the animal to us for a refund, there is a NO MONEY REFUNDED BACK TO YOU GUARANTEE. Please keep this in mind when purchasing from us. Animals going to new homes are stressed and they do not behave as they did in the home in which you viewed them. Production will go down in milking does. It takes time for the animal(s) to adjust. It costs us money to take an animal back as we have to quarantine them, which requires special feeding and we have to pull blood and mail it to the lab for diagnostic testing.
